Listed below are just some of the different types of strawberries (strawberry
kinds) grown on the Kawatsura Farm. They can be prepared on a "to
go" basis or for special delivery. When you arrive on the farm, you
will be given the best type for that season, while you are always welcome
to suggest your preference.
Fusanoka (No.1 kind of our farm, especially Japanese)
In Chinese Charactor: 房之香
Very Sweet; it is said that this strawberry is very similar to the taste
of peaches

In our field, Japaense people love this kind, especially kids and woman.
Some of fruit shape like "heart". It is really so cute! lovely
strawberry. This kind is not available outside Chiba Prefecture. also not
in market. It is said to grow this kind is really difficult but we make
it really good.
Tochiotome
In Chinese Charactor: 栃乙女
Very sweet with moderate sourness. Soft body

Tochiotome has characteristic flavor. You can't tell this with the strawberry in the supermarket. We
think that Ripe and sweet Tochiotome will change your thinking about strawberry
for sure.
Akihime
In Chinese Charactor: 章姫
Watery freshness; not sour, having a soft body

Sachinoka

Very sweet with moderate sourness. Hard body; dark red with a very high vitamin C concentration

Foreign people love this Sahinoka. At the expensive fruit shop deal with
this kind in downtown Tokyo.This kind gives you different taste in cold
season and warm season. In cold winter, this Sachinoka's body getting hard.
Strong flavor shines out in your mouth and has well balance of sweetness
and sourness. Warm season, the body is getting softer and has characteristic flavor. We think this kind is "Prince of strawberry."
