Bodø/Glimt, the standout sensation of the Champions League, have claimed the Norwegian Cup for the first time in 33 years. They defeated SK Brann in the final on a penalty shootout (4-2) after a 3-3 draw in regulation time. Goals came from Ola Brynhildsen, Andreas Helmersen, and an own goal, with the victory secured from the spot. This marks the club’s third trophy in its history, following previous wins in 1975 and 1993.
Reaching the cup final for the third time since 2021, this latest success also caps a notable 2026 campaign for the Norwegian side. Earlier this season, Bodø/Glimt advanced to the UEFA Champions League round of 16, becoming the first Norwegian team to do so since the 1999-2000 season.
