Ceramica Cleopatra has officially qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time in the club’s history, securing a spot in next season’s competition. The Egyptian Premier League side clinched fourth place in the standings, benefiting from Pyramids FC’s triumph in the Egypt Cup.
The club’s official Facebook account celebrated the milestone with a post: “Ceramica conquers Africa… the Confederation Cup awaits the knights… set your watch from now.”
Ceramica secured fourth place in the league table with 44 points, with one match remaining against Zamalek. The Egypt Cup winner traditionally earns a Confederation Cup berth alongside the league’s third-placed team. However, if one of the top three league finishers wins the cup, the fourth-placed team secures the spot—which is precisely what transpired after Pyramids FC claimed the Egypt Cup title.
